During that time I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with teams and brands of multiple fast-growing Shopify and SaaS brands, helping them improve the performance of their digital marketing.

Through this work I’ve developed hands-on expertise in paid social ads, conversion rate optimization, experimentation, and growth strategy with one clear goal: turning more of your existing traffic into revenue.

B12rx

From $20K to $75K on Meta for Supplement business

In 2023 I got in touch with B12rx.com. They are a supplement business in the US specializing in B12 shots. They needed a specialist to set up and optimize their email marketing efforts (through Klaviyo).

As a certified product specialist and partner at Klaviyo, I was able to help them set up flows that were achieving way-above-average results. Here are some of their metrics vs the benchmarks in their industry:

1. Average open rates are 40% better than peers

2. Click rates are 290% better than peers (!)

3. Click-through rate is 178% better than peers

4. Conversion rate is 25% better than peers

5. AOV is 666% better than peers (a scary number in different ways...)

After achieving these results, my scope of work was extended to oversee their Meta ad spend.

The business was spending about $15-20k per month on Meta. Here's how within 2 months we spend $74k profitably:

1. Exponentially expand the volume of creatives they were using. We had published over 250 ads in 2 months, as opposed to the 10-20 ads they were running before my start.

2. Tested out multiple different landing pages that managed to increase the conversion rate.

3. Created a B12 quiz that helped visitors understand more about the product and convert at a higher rate than some of our landing pages.

From Growth Hacker to Senior Paid Social Manager

The Revagroup is a SaaS business that helps tenants and landlords connect through their smart home listing websites. I joined the Revagroup in 2020 as a growth hacker to expand their business in the Netherlands.

My team consisted of only me - whilst being able to join forces with colleagues from different departments like SEA, SEO, mail, and development.

The first full year we managed to get over 1,000 paying customers, generating over €35,000 per month. This was mostly done through effective Meta ads campaigns and SEA.

By the second year, we grew the Dutch market to a million euro market, generating revenue through two different websites.

With amazing successes on paid social and affiliate, I was appointed as Senior Paid Social Manager to help all 24+ markets (as of 2024 it became 35) grow exponentially and get the best out of our budget.

I was overseeing a budget of €100,000+ per month across around 14 of our main markets, mainly on Meta and partially through TikTok.

Strategy for Forbes-listed Investment app in the US

I joined Compound Real Estate Bonds (formerly known as CompoundBanc) in 2023 to help them grow the number of investors for their Real Estate investing app, as well as lay down the structure for their email marketing efforts.

The main goal of this project was to acquire new investors through the Meta ad platform and maximize their investments through email marketing (done through Klaviyo).

I helped them strategize on how they could get a maximum return on their Meta ad spend. We created multiple landing pages designed to speak to different types of investors; small, medium, and large.

By adjusting the ads shown to different audiences, we managed to acquire investors spending anywhere from $100 to $20,000 on our investments.

Additionally, we built email flows designed to get investors to finish their registration, make their first deposit, and invest in our app on a regular basis.

Co-owner of Ecom business RELIEVEMi based in the USA

After having built and sold our first successful eCommerce store, a business partner and I built RELIEVEMi. A brand dedicated to relieving pain through smart massage devices (not the sexy type of massage devices 😉)

We did a test run in the spring of 2020 and achieved great results selling our first 100 products in the US.

We had a logistics partner set up there that would help us deliver our products in 1 day to our customers.

We acquired funding to buy more stock and store in the US. Unfortunately, due to COVID, many of our costs went overboard and it was difficult to scale our brand online.

In 2021 we were contacted by SharperImage - a $75,000,000+ online retailer in the US - to take over our products. We successfully sold our stock and brand to Sharper image.

Growing a B2B SaaS business in the Real Estate indsutry

REsimpli is a B2B SaaS business that helps Real Estate business owners organize their business more smartly and effectively.

When I met REsimpli, they had given up on Meta Ads as the CPA they had previously worked with was not in the range they needed it to be.

Here's how I stepped in and grew their customer base without letting CPA go overboard:

1. Since the product is rather a niche, we tested out dozens of different interests surrounding real estate, buying and selling properties, and construction.

Testing out audiences is something that many businesses don't do anymore since Meta provides many broad audience options. However, when your product is more niche, it's worth finding specific audiences that work well.

2. As a general issue with businesses, REsimpli wasn't using enough creatives and different copies to be able to test out enough ads. So, we increased the number of ads significantly in the first 2 weeks.

3. By using cost capped campaigns, rather than the highest-volume bid strategy, we were able to effectively spend our budget without stretching the CPA beyond our profit targets.

Growing Award-Winning Coffee & Bakery Room Online

I started working together with Coffeelicious in 2020, during the pandemic. They were forced to move a significant amount of their activities online and needed help with their Shopify store.

The goal was to:

1) Sell their popular services as "to-go" versions (think of High-Teas to go or Brunches to-go) through their Shopify store

2) Set up a complete email marketing strategy that would enhance their CLV.

3. Increase AOV on their Shopify store.
